Return Policy

🌎 International Return & Refund Policy

1. General Policy
Please note that the "7-day cooling-off period" mandated by Taiwan consumer protection laws does not apply to international orders. Due to the high cost and complexity of international logistics, all international sales are final. We generally do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item is significantly defective or the wrong item was sent.

2. Non-Returnable Items
For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
Perishables: Food items, dried herbs, and herbal teas.
Personal Care: Skincare, essential oils, and cosmetics that have been opened or used.
Hygiene: Pierced earrings (once opened).
Customized Orders: Any items customized or resized to fit.

3. Note on Natural Gemstones & Minerals
Our products are made from natural materials. The following are not considered defects:
Natural Variations: Inclusions, color zoning, natural stone lines, cloudiness, or tiny mineral pits.
Unique Energy: These features are evidence of natural origin and do not affect the product's quality or energy. We do not accept returns based on these natural characteristics.

4. Customs, Duties, and Import Regulations
Buyer’s Responsibility: It is the buyer's sole responsibility to ensure that ordered products (especially herbs and liquids) are permitted for import into their country.
Documentation: If your local customs require specific permits or sanitary certificates, you are responsible for obtaining them. We only provide standard commercial invoices.
Fees: International shipping costs do not include import duties, VAT, or local handling fees. These must be paid by the recipient.
Seizure: We are not responsible if a package is seized, destroyed, or quarantined by customs. No refunds will be issued in these cases.

5. Unclaimed Packages & Refused Delivery
No refunds will be issued if a package is lost, destroyed, or returned due to:
Incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.
Failure to claim the package within the courier's holding period.
Refusal to pay required customs duties or taxes.
Returns: If a package is returned to us, all outbound and return shipping costs plus handling fees will be deducted from any potential refund.

6. Defective or Damaged Items
We pack every order with extreme care, but if you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery.
Proof Required: Email Order Number and clear photos of the damaged item and the exterior packaging to: the.witches.herb.garden@gmail.com
Resolution: We will offer a replacement (if feasible), a refund, or store credit depending on the situation.
